The 2022 China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial People's Government, will be held in Haikou from April 12 to 16.
The 2022 CICPE will highlight the first show of new global products, and build itself into an important platform to promote high-level opening-up, smooth out the domestic and international dual economic cycle, boost consumption upgrades and consumption returns, and lead global fashion consumption.
The total exhibition areas of the expo will be expanded to 100,000 square meters. Among them, the international exhibition area has increased from 60,000 sq m of last year's event to 80,000 sq m, and the proportion of foreign brands in the exhibition area has increased from 75 percent to 80 percent. France will serve as the guest of honor at the 2022 CICPE.
The domestic exhibition area is 20,000 sq m and includes 14,000 sq m of provincial and municipal pavilions and 6,000 sq m of newly-added domestic product boutiques. The Chinese Products Boutique Pavilion will highlight domestic consumer boutiques and time-honored brands, and provide more domestic consumer boutiques with a display and trading platform and new export opportunities.
