Global Recruitment for 2022 China International Consumer Products Expo Almost Complete

The 2022 China International Consumer Products Expo is co-organized by China' Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Hainan Province, and it is the first national-level exhibition that focuses on consumer goods. 1,505 enterprises from 70 countries and regions including 2,628 consumer goods brands participated in the first China International Consumer Products Expo in 2021, and the results exceeded expectations.


“We aim to provide a platform for international consumer goods, brands and products to showcase themselves and a form partnership and make transaction here,” said Huang Cui, chief representative of Beijing Office of Hainan IEDB.


The China International Consumer Products Expo 2022 will concentrate on boutique goods. The expo’s main objective is to “open-up” globally by debuting a wider-range of products and connecting both the domestic and international markets, making it an important platform for promoting the upgrading of consumption, the return of consumption, and leading global consumer fashion.


Huang Cui stated that so far, they had almost finalized registration of participating brands and companies, and that they shall provide the best service to the exhibitors, buyers and audience joining the EXPO.


The total exhibition area of the Expo will be expanded from 80,000 square metres of the first Expo to 100,000 square metres; and the international exhibition area will be increased from 60,000 square metres to 80,000 square metres. France will be this year’s guest of honor at the Hainan Expo. The domestic exhibition area will be 20,000 square metres, including 14,000 square metres of provincial, regional and municipal pavilions and a new domestic product pavilion of 6,000 square metres. The domestic product pavilion aims to showcase high-quality Chinese products and time-honored brands, giving them the platform to‘Go Global’.


“We now have country and region pavilion coming from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR, and a number of other countries and regions. More companies and visitors could join the expo to have a close look at the brands and products and to network with them,” said Huang Cui.


The 2022 China International Consumer Products Expo will be the first national-level exhibition that focuses on consumer goods, and will be held in Haikou from April 12th to the 16th. The duration of the Expo has been extended to 5 days from the original 4 days.
