The Estée Lauder Companies to exhibit at Hainan Expo

The Estée Lauder Companies today announced its participation in the second annual China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo) in Haikou, Hainan from 12-16 April, marking the company’s debut in this national-level exhibition.


“The Estée Lauder Companies is looking forward to bringing the world of beauty to consumers in Hainan through the exhibition and highlighting the fantastic luxury brand experiences travellers can expect when visiting this top tourist destination,” the US beauty products group said in a statement.


The news comes as a tremendous boost to the event, now in its second year and hosted by the Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (Hainan IEDB). The Estée Lauder Companies is the lead player in the Hainan travel retail beauty sector.

The Estée Lauder Companies is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare products, which are sold in approximately 150 countries and territories.


The group entered the China market in 1993 with core brands Estée Lauder and Clinique.


“The company believes in the long-term growth of the China market and Hainan as a strategic destination for the duty free channel, and continues to deepen its commitment to Chinese consumers,” the group said.


The Estée Lauder Companies will bring 13 brands to the Expo including Bobbi Brown; Clinique; Darphin Paris; Dr.Jart+; Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle; Estée Lauder; and Jo Malone London.
