The second China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) will be held from April 12 to 16 in Haikou, the capital of Hainan province. It will include a series of supporting activities, such as global consumer forums and the debut activities of new products.
The CICPE will focus on building the "Global Consumer Forum" brand, with the aim of leading global fashion consumption. The organizing committee will invite all participants to publish authoritative reports, express their latest views, as well as jointly provide insights into how the Hainan Free Trade Port and the CICPE platform could be used to bolster global consumption innovation.
The debut of new products will cover four types of activities. First, the CICPE will set up a new product release area. To date, world-renewed brands like Kirin Jewelry, Dalmore whiskey, Baume & Mercier, L'Oreal, and Tyson have indicated that they will release their latest products during the expo. Second, international brands will hold a series of new product debut events in their booths, covering more than 10 categories, including clothing, luggage, beauty products, food, beverages, jewelry, and diamonds.
Third, domestic provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities will hold a number of high-quality product release activities, such as the Yunnan consumer products promotion and matchmaking meeting, as well as the Guangdong supply and procurement matchmaking meeting. Fourth, the 2022 CICPE will hold a fashion week event, inviting domestic and foreign designers to display their latest fashion lines.
The expo is expected to become a leading platform for global consumer fashion, enrich Hainan's fashion industry, as well as help the province develop into an international tourism consumption center and an international design island.
