A SHENZHEN exhibitor group consisting of 19 enterprises secured deals worth 253.2 million yuan (US$37.54 million) at the second China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo), which wrapped up in Haikou, Hainan Province, on Saturday, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.
In addition, the intentional cooperation deals Shenzhen companies signed at the expo reached 237.9 million yuan.

This year, 104 new products from 68 brands across China debuted at the expo.
Among them, Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer Honor launched its new tablets at the exhibition Friday, achieving sales of over 6 million yuan onsite and deals worth of more than 2 million yuan online.
Shenzhen GEE-D Technology Co. put its latest facial beauty devices on display and garnered preliminary orders worth 50 million yuan.
At the expo, Shenzhen Grandsun Electronic Co. signed a 3-million-yuan cooperative project with a Hainan trade company.
Mo Xiongbin, brand manager of Grandsun Electronic, said that the company planned to expand its sales network in Hainan by establishing an offshore company and building a bonded factory, in a bid to enhance its domestic and export sales.
During the six-day event, Shenzhen Amos Food Marketing Co. obtained food purchase and sales contracts totaling 2 million yuan, and Purcotton announced the opening of a store in Haikou MixC, with a total investment of over 2 million yuan.
Shenzhen Duty-Free Group, China’s first wholly State-owned company approved by the State Council for duty-free sales in China, offered eye test services and brought limited editions of wines and spirits to the expo.
Times DF Haikou, the group’s Mission Hills store in the Hainan duty-free sector, with a planned business area of 100,000 square meters, is expected to provide customers with a world-class shopping experience of international brands from around the world, according to the group.
Moreover, Shenzhen’s Heytea and China Yong Feng Yuan Co. reached strategic cooperation intentions with Shenzhen Duty-Free Group during the expo and are projected to open their flagship stores in Times DF at Haikou Mission Hills Centreville in the future.
