A business exchange group from southern China's Hainan Province met with companies in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 31, where they made a cooperation agreement with the Kapal Api Group, the largest coffee company in Indonesia.

The Hainan group included personnel from the Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development, the Foreign Affairs Office, the Department of Commerce, and other government departments.
Representatives from the Provincial Bureau of Economic Development gave an introduction to the preferential policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the advantages of the island’s developing coffee industry, and invited the Kapal Api Group to participate in the third China International Consumer Products Expo (also known as “Hainan Expo”), which is expected to be held in Haikou this year.
According to Indra Boedijono (Go Tek In), the president of the Kapal Api Group, they will put their coffee and food brands on display at the Hainan Expo this year, and hope to begin working with Hainan companies in the areas of trade settlement, product processing, setting up a coffee factory, and more.
