Recently, a presentation event of the 3rd China International Consumer Products Expo (the CICPE or "Hainan Expo") was successfully held in Hongkong SAR. This presentation was co-organized by the Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (IEDB) and iClick Group with support by travel retail company the Moodie Davitt Report. Representatives from Richemont Group, Pernod Ricard Group, Dufry Group and  Pola Orbis Holdings also attended.

Focusing on the business cooperation opportunities between Hainan and the SAR, the Hainan IEDB provided a detailed interpretation of the key policies and investment opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port, especially.  Ruslan Tulenov, the IEDB's Global Media Officer, explained that the development of the FTP is in full swing. Hainan has set up major industrial parks, and offers relevant tax incentives and development opportunities to promote business development. In the future, his department will coordinate with the local participating enterprises on the preparation progress of the 3rd CICPE, and invite more international brands from different fields.

Representatives from a variety of enterprises expressed their optimism about the prospects for the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port. With a better understanding of the FTP, they will continue to study the advantages and development opportunities of Hainan and have plans to visit and start up businesses in Hainan as soon as possible.
